  Shipping to the UK
Posted by: fixer - 10-13-2006, 07:27 AM - Forum: Shipping - Replies (2)

Well done this Heli is awesome, I've set my heart on one and when I do that I don’t like to be discouraged , I suppose the UK aviation laws are totally different to the US law but I still want one. What would the total price be shipped to the UK?
I have a fleet of RC Helicopters the latest one is a Vario Acrobatic but I still can’t sit in it.

  Flying in Canada
Posted by: MDiver - 10-12-2006, 01:28 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (1)

Hello everyone.

I just started browsing around here, things look really interesting. My question is about flying a mosquito in Canada, I know that our regulations are different than the U.S. I'm wondering if there are any mosquito's flying in Canada, and if so, what are the requirements (Full license, certification, inspections, etc, etc,).

Thanks in advance.

  2 Questions
Posted by: Galland - 10-09-2006, 07:38 AM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (7)

Q1: If I am reading the FAQ correctly, one must have a
license (in the USA) to fly an XE but no license to
fly an XEL. Is this correct?
Q2: Have you ever considered making the body out of carbon
fiber instead of fiberglass? It seems that it would get
rid of some extra weight

  Price Increases....??
Posted by: Mike72639 - 10-08-2006, 09:11 AM - Forum: Pricing - Replies (7)

I am a newby to this site of the Mosquito. I saw the craft on the Discovery Channel during their weekly Saturday morning presentation of items of interest.

I am excited about this craft, and have been excited about helicopters for as long as I can remember. The Mosquito provides me the light at the end of the tunnel to realize my ownership dream will come true. I am only concerned that now that I and I am sure hundreds, maybe thousands of others around the world have seen it, the price will increase simply to slow demand.....Please don't go crazy with the pricing as you have finally provided us (the little guy) with something we can truly afford and be proud of building and owning as well.

I have read every post there is on this site and researched every ounce of information I could find on this craft and all I can say is, WOW, what a fantastically engineered aircraft. John you and your team have done a fantastic job, please keep up the goodwork. I hopefully will be placing my order her within the next few weeks...(gotta liquidate a few out dated toys).

I will be daily viewing this site for update and items of interest.

  Factory Build Assistance
Posted by: Dave R. - 10-08-2006, 06:33 AM - Forum: Registration and Licencing - Replies (8)

What about a builder assistance program at the factory? Sure would be nice if a fellow could purchase a kit, and then build with the assistance and oversight of factory personnel. This would allow the builder to receive their repairmans certificate, have good knowledge of the mechanics, and expertise available on site. Wink

  Home Page Trouble
Posted by: NikCollins - 10-05-2006, 05:45 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (2)

I just discovered a video of the mosquito on Youtube and for the past week ive compulsively watched it. I'm amazed. I promise within the next 4 years I will buy and assemble an XEL. Anyway I began researching the Mosquito and when I eventually found the address to the website the page would cause an error and close my window. I some how found a way to get directly to the forum but I still can't get to the home page. Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

ps- I use Firefox but I also tried accessing it in IE with the same end result.
