Ontario, Canada Mosquito owners
#1
Hello All
Just purchased kits 1 & 2 used (preowned) from a fellow in Kitchener, Ontario. No assembly has been done with these kits. I would like to touch base with some local Mosquito owners before I begin the build. Any Ontario Mosquito owners out there?
Cheers!!

Hey congrats on the purchase! Been watching that ad on Barnstormers for a while! Glad it’s going to a good home  Wink

With the power of the universe we stand strong together
Through the force in our power, it will soon reach the hour
For victory we ride, Fury of the Storm!"

Hey BobbyJoe

So, I’m not the only one in Ontario with a Mosquito. I have kits 1 & 2 purchased third hand. No assembly has been done, all still in their original crates and in perfect condition. Just got them two weeks ago. First task is painting. Still trying to decide on engines, piston or turbine.
Is yours complete?

Hey guys,

There's not alot of mosquitos in canada. I think i have the only one in saskatchewan. More importantly if you don't have a helicopter lic, and are looking at doing it or a conversion, pm me.
I have was waiting for over a year for transport to determine if i could use my mosquito for the solo component of the trg. I've just started my commercial conversion with Chinook Helicopters in BC. I'm currently installing the larger 285 engine and including a small heater core, because lets face it, even with doors it sucks flying at -30s without a heater. Should have it i stalled and flying again mid jan. will post photo etc as the install goes. May start a new "winterizing your mosquito" thread. Tim R

TS,

This great! I live outside of Denver and yes it gets cold. I have flown with the doors and it is not too bad but a heater would be an interesting project. Good luck with your build.
